Founded in 1995 by director Ray Sweeney, MONDO has rapidly emerged as a prominent architectural practice. Based in Brisbane Australia, Mondo has grown an extensive and diverse portfolio of successfully completed projects throughout Australia.
From project conception, through documentation, construction and to final delivery the team at Mondo Architects remains client and quality focused with the support of creativity, technology and expertise.
The company has a long established reputation for innovative, result driven outcomes and has a proven record in the delivery of a broad range of projects including industrial, commercial, retail, residential, multi-residential, resort, and mixed use projects.
Mondo’s vision is that good architecture should stimulate the mind upon first impression but retain the functionality and purpose for which a structure is built. In the words of French architect Le Corbusier “Form follows Function”.
Good design comes from providing innovative yet functional and cost effective outcomes. Mondo Architects is committed to providing quality outcomes and continually proves its ability to do so.

Mondo was founded in 1995 by director Ray Sweeney.
Since then, we have designed over 4000 projects. During this time, we have had a mix of long term Mondos with over 18 years of experience in the firm, all the way through to young and enthusiastic Mondo millennials, all of which contribute greatly to our work and office environment

Mondo’s primary area of operations centre around South-East Queensland, however Mondo is also regularly involved in projects spanning the eastern seaboard, from Melbourne to Cairns and everywhere in between.
Special circumstances have also allowed us to provide Architecture and Urban Design services for projects in Tasmania and Western Australia, as well as Qingdao and Janan Provinces in China.

We are a cloud based operatation, meaning we have the ability to collaborate, create and edit our work with ease anywhere around the globe.
Everything we do is team based. Whether it is in house or working closely with the client, authorities, consultants and other stakeholders to ensure that the process from inception to successful completion is as seamless as possible.
